Pickleball a combination of tennis, badminton and ping pong. It is an indoor or outdoor racket/paddle sport where two or four players hit a perforated hollow plastic ball over a 36-inch-high net using solid-faced paddles. Opponents on either side of the net hit the ball repeatedly until one side commits a rule. Besides being easier to learn than tennis, pickleball is also slower paced, and there’s less ground to cover; you could almost fit four pickleball courts onto one tennis court, and most picklers play doubles.
Padel Tennis (NEW)
Padel is a racket sport typically played in doubles on an enclosed court slightly smaller than a doubles tennis court. Scoring is the same as normal tennis, and the balls used are similar but with a little less pressure. The main differences are that the court has walls and the balls can be played off them in a similar way as in the game of squash and that solid, stringless bats are used. The height of the ball being served must be at or below the waist level.
