Childcare Assistant

Purpose of the Role: As a Child Care Assistant in Kelly’s Resort Hotel Kids Club, you will play a key role in creating a safe, engaging, and fun environment for children of all ages. The role involves planning and leading daily activities, supervising children from morning until evening, and ensuring they enjoy a memorable experience during their stay.

The would be an ideal position for a teaching student looking for weekend experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organise and deliver a variety of indoor and outdoor activities that respond to children’s interests and align with the hotel’s scheduled daily programme.
• Supervise, monitor, and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
• Maintain accurate records on attendance, activities, and any incidents.
• Observe, monitor, and record children’s development & whereabouts during the day.
• Work collaboratively with the Kids Club team to provide a welcoming and supportive environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and hotel staff.

Essential Requirements:

• FETAC Level 5 (or higher) in Childcare.
• Valid First Aid certification.
• Garda Vetting (or willingness to obtain before commencing employment).
• Previous experience working in a childcare facility or similar environment.
