“For years at Kelly’s we have been buying as much local produce as possible,” says Bill Kelly, “We butcher our own meats, prep all our own vegetables and make all our bread and desserts. We source only the best building a relationship with our suppliers over the years, they too share the same ethos in supplying only the best”.
In keeping with the ethos of Kelly’s, we have sourced some of the best and well-known food suppliers, who have been supplying the hotel over the last number of years.
RICHIE DOYLE & SONS BUTCHERS
Richard Doyle & Sons Butchers is a locally owned and family run butcher that has been in business in Wexford Town for the past twenty-six years. Sourcing its meat from local producers in County Wexford and having one of the only two domestic abattoirs in the county, they pride themselves on the traceability of the beef and lamb that they slaughter, which can be traced from the counter back to the field it was raised in. They consider themselves to be a “field to fork” butchers. Their pork and poultry products are all sourced in Ireland.
