Join Rory Boland, Bridge Master, for a relaxing midweek of Bridge classes & competitions with hand records. Enjoy the event and discussions while improving your game. The “Play and Learn” workshops are the ideal way for Bridge players to improve their game.

About half the session given over to dealt hands, the other half is used to learn the bidding and play with Rory. Players of all levels will receive enormous benefit from these sessions. Excellent daily prizes and fun. Rory will be available throughout the week for informal advice.

Enjoy a fascinating tasting with Jean Claude Ramonet, from the famous Domaine Ramonet - The undisputed master of Chassagne-Montrachet. Jean Claude’s wines were described by Robert parker as the greatest White Chardonnays he has ever tasted in his life!

Join Laurent Pillot from Fernand and Laurent Pillot Estate. Their Chassagne-Montrachet 1er cru Vide-Bourse 2005 scored 94 at the 10th position, equally placed among White Grand Cru in Burgundy wines. Laurent is the fourth generation, extending the Domaine in 1992 again in 2001 taking over the vines Pothier-Rieusset in Pommard. Today the Domaine covers 14.6 hectares for a total of 22 appellations, with a richness and complexity few wines can match!

Together these two great producers will bring you on a journey, tasting Burgundies finest wines!

Derrick Carberry, the favourite Make-up Artist of many of Ireland’s most stylish women, will teach you how to devise a professional make up look that will work for you this season.

Karen Ward (Holistic practitioner) and Paula Mee (Dietitian) will work together to bring you a series of talks and workshops on Beauty From Within, including updates on the latest anti-aging breakthroughs, mindfulness, healthy snacks for good skin/hair, vitamins and minerals, and food that can taste as good as it can make you look!

Helen Dillon is a world-renowned plantswoman, writer, lecturer and broadcaster. Helen’s passion and motivation will offer you a personal, intimate and passionate account of the pleasures of gardening. Her garden in Ranelagh, attracts visitors from all over the world. Winner of medals from the Royal Horticultural Society and the Massachusetts Horticultural Society, she lectures in Britain, the US and New Zealand as well as Ireland.

Sandra Cosgrove passion is designing innovative yet practical gardens, including our own (Winner of Best Outdoor Space 2007).
Her vision is to create outdoor spaces which link interiors with the garden for each of the four seasons and bring elements to the garden wich inspires eveyone.

Join Neven this midweek where he will demonstrate some wonderful recipes from his new book. Cooking is a passion for Neven and his approach to cooking is simplicity, using the best of Irish Produce.

Stephane Rochard is a talented French Pastry Chef, who has vast experience from working in France at many Gastronomic Restaurants; His passion for being creative while turning simple desserts into a work of art.

Talented Executive Chef Eugene Callaghan will show you how tasty bistro style dishes can be accomplished at home. Eugene won Roux Brothers “Chef of the Year” award in 1991. He has invaluable international experience in Belgium,
Switzerland, France and at Roscoff’s in Belfast prior to joining Kelly’s.

If you’ve ever wanted to try you hand at painting or if you would like to improve your work, now is your chance with artist Frank Clarke. Host of the successful television series “Simply Painting”, Frank combines great skill and a light-hearted approach to guide you through the business of art and painting.

The course includes all the materials you need to take home a “masterpiece” of you own after your midweek break.
